OPEN ENROLLMENT
The Santa Clara Unified Board of Trustees has established a policy of limited Open Enrollment. Although some of our schools are already at capacity, this policy allows families who reside within the boundaries of the district to request enrollment of their children at "any District school which may have space available for additional students." Admittance to the school of your choice under the Open Enrollment process is done by an annual random lottery system. If you applied last year and were not admitted, you will need to reapply again this year if you want to be considered for your school of choice.

You must complete the annual student information update through our online enrollment in order for your child to start school on the first day of school.
The annual student information update allows families to update:
- parent/guardian contact information
- emergency contacts
- student health information,
- and electronically sign yearly consent forms
- students enrolled in grades 3, 6, or 9 or whose address has changed will be required to provide proof of residency (this was previously an annual requirement for all students)
